TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All sales made by Pretty in Para Co. will adhere to the following conditions unless otherwise stated by Pretty in Para Co.

Authorized Vendor

We are an authorized vendor for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

 Exchange Policy

Pretty in Para will accept exchanges for regularly priced, non-personalized, unused, and undamaged merchandise. In addition to exchanges, the customer may receive a store credit for regular/full priced items. A customer must call/email and receive an exchange confirmation before returning items. Please reach out  WITHIN (5) business days of receiving your purchase if you are not satisfied or need to exchange. All sale-priced or special order items are FINAL, no exchanges.

**Please return items in its original packaging within (5) days of receiving exchange confirmation.  Again, the return package must be wrapped safely/completely and postmarked within (5) days of receiving the confirmation. We will not ship an exchange until the original is returned in new condition and approved packaging. Your satisfaction is important to us, but we must adhere to our exchange policy. 

 Items Not Eligible for Exchange:

  • Personalized items, unless misspelled or damaged at the fault of Pretty in Para Co.
  • Sale priced items
  • Items that have been used or worn

Shipping 

The customer is responsible for ALL return shipping charges, unless the item received is incorrect or damaged by the manufacturer.

Orders will be shipped within 5-7  business days, subject to product availability. Custom orders will ship within 7-15 business days. Of course, group orders may take longer. We usually use USPS shipping services: first class, priority, and priority express. Customer must note if they prefer a required signature to accompany package delivery. Pretty in Para is not responsible for expedited shipping charges due to weather or late ordering cases.  If shipping selection is changed after order total has been paid, an additional invoice may be sent to customer to settle the difference.

Damaged Items

If an item is damaged through fault of Pretty in Para or manufacturing, please contact us within 3 days of receiving damaged goods for instructions on returning it. You may send the claim to prettyinpara@gmail.com. If an item has been altered or damaged due to customer fault, it cannot be exchanged.

Promotions, Coupons, and Discounts

Specials/sales cannot be combined with each other, nor can they be applied to previous purchases, taxes, shipping and handling. 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Buyer Terms

Buyer acknowledges, understands and agrees (hereinafter collectively “agrees”) that he/she is an Authorized Buyer only if buying goods bearing logos, designs, copyrights and trademarks for an AKA member. Buyer agrees that a non-member is not allowed to purchase, own, wear or possess such items.

Buyer also agrees that purchasing Sorority goods for any other reason is prohibited and doing so under false pretense authorizes Sorority to immediately (1) remove the goods from the internet and all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, ebay, amazon.com, etsy.com (hereinafter collectively “Third Party”) and (2)repossess such good(s) from Buyer and Third Party trying to sell them. Buyer agrees to waive its First Sale Doctrine right to subsequently sell any item(s), bearing a Sorority Mark."
